I decided I needed a alibi to prove my action, for right or wrong.  My digital witness is a Olympus VN-6200PC digital voice recorder.  I carry it everyday and it is recording the whole time.  I have to dump the memory onto my computer every couple weeks, but the space it uses is negligible.  I also have some rechargeable AAAs that get replaced everyday.

Much of the media on this site will consist of exerpts from conversations with police, strangers or other people of interest.  And so far, it has served me comparable than my firearm as far as personal protection.
